The Caldwell Police Department is hosting a Drug Take Back Day on October 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will take place in the lobby of the police department, located at 110 S. 5th Ave.

Residents are encouraged to bring their unused prescription medications for safe disposal. Accepted items include all solid dosage pharmaceutical products and liquid products, such as cough syrup, as long as they are sealed in their original container.

The initiative aims to combat illegal use, overdoses, and trafficking of unused prescriptions.
