**Broome County Office of Emergency Services Hiring EMS Operations Manager**
**Binghamton, NY** – The Broome County Office of Emergency Services has announced a job opening for the role of EMS Operations Manager. This is a full-time, high-level administrative position dedicated to managing and supervising a County-based rapid medical response service.
The individual hired for this role will serve under the direction of the Emergency Medical Services Coordinator and will be instrumental in creating and launching Broome County’s EMS Rapid Medical Response program. Key responsibilities during the first year of employment include:
- Developing the program and policies.
- Coordinating equipment purchases and setting up a pharmaceutical program.
- Designing a staffing model using available data.
- Preparing timelines and presentations for the County Legislature.
- Recruiting and hiring staff for the program.
