NYU Women Set DIII Winning Streak Record

The NYU women’s basketball team extended its record with an 82nd consecutive win, beating Carnegie Mellon 69-58 in Pittsburgh. This victory sets a new record for the longest winning streak in Division III. Head Coach Meg Barber said the team is shifting its focus to key upcoming goals, including winning a UAA Championship and returning to the NCAA Tournament. NYU President Mills praised the team’s efforts, noting that Coach Barber, Captain Caroline Peper, and the entire team are making their community proud. He added that the community is behind them as they pursue a third straight National Championship this season.
