Camp Cory names three for Summer 2026 staff
YMCA Camp Cory in Penn Yan released its Summer 2026 staff highlights, naming three staff members for the season.
Cella McLaughlin — Senior Counselor
From Corning, New York, Cella is a senior at Corning-Painted Post High School. This summer will be her second year at Camp Cory. She plans to run track at the University of Pittsburgh starting next fall. Her hobbies include baking, hammock camping, cliff diving and hanging out with her friends.
Poppy Newman — Lawn Games Specialist
From the English Midlands, this is Poppy's first year at camp. She is currently deciding whether to pursue a degree in Acting or Philosophy. Her hobbies include baking, cooking, acting and kickboxing.
Alexis Byrne — Senior Counselor
From The Wirral, England, this will be her first year at camp. She is studying to be Cabin Crew in college. A fun fact about Alexis is that she has volunteered with Team GB in the Xcatworldchampionship in Fujairah.
