Mrs. VanDuren Celebrates Reading Success with Sundaes

On November 13th, Mrs. VanDuren visited Mrs. Kallies’ class at Jefferson Elementary to serve ice cream sundaes. This celebration was in recognition of the class's excellent participation in the Pick A Reading Partner (PARP) Program.
During October, students at Jefferson were encouraged to read more at home with family members. The class with the highest participation earned the chance to spin the Jefferson Prize Wheel. Mrs. Kallies’ class won the ice cream party for their efforts.
Mrs. VanDuren brought chocolate syrup and whipped cream to create the sundaes, providing a tasty reward for the students' commitment to reading.
