Florida University Space Research Consortium Meets on Space Coast
ROCKLEDGE, Fla. — The Florida University Space Research Consortium, the state’s official space research entity, met on Florida's Space Coast today, according to the Economic Development Commission of Florida's Space Coast.
Leaders from the Florida University Space Research Consortium partners — University of Florida, University of Central Florida, Florida Tech and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University — gathered with Space Florida and NASA Kennedy Space Center.
As the nation’s only university consortium formally affiliated with a NASA center, Florida is positioned to:
- Accelerate cutting-edge space research
- Strengthen workforce pipelines
- Attract transformative aerospace projects
- Reinforce its leadership in the global space economy
