Albany Institute Hosts Free Family Day September 22

The Albany Institute of History & Art is hosting a Free Family Day on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from noon to 4:00 PM. The event is inspired by the exhibition "Enchanting Threads: The Art of Salley Mavor."

Activities include art-making in the studio from noon to 3 PM, and the Utica ZooMobile will be present on the front lawn from noon to 2 PM. Additionally, there will be a storytelling session titled “Fairy Tales and Bedtime Stories” with Barry Marshall and Jeri Burns of The Storycrafters from 3 to 4 PM.

Admission to the event is free, and it is funded by M&T Bank, CDPHP, and the J.M. McDonald Foundation.
