Graduate students from Boise State University's Civil Engineering department are researching emerging contaminants in wastewater. Led by Associate Professor Sondra Miller, the team is studying how pharmaceuticals and personal care products behave during the wastewater treatment process. Their study, which uses data from a local Boise water treatment facility, has been published in the journal Water Resources Management.
