YMCA Tri-Valley Launches Weeklong Vacation Club
The YMCA of the Greater Tri-Valley has opened registration for its Vacation Fun Club, a daily enrichment program running from 7 AM to 6 PM for children in kindergarten through 12th grade. The state-licensed program offers activities such as arts and crafts, physical fitness, science, character development, outdoor play, and visits from special guests.
The program is scheduled from April 18th through 25th with the following daily events:
• Friday, April 18th – Easter Fun
• Monday, April 21st – Mindful Monday
• Tuesday, April 22nd – Plants, Seeds & More
• Wednesday, April 23rd – Spring Sports Day
• Thursday, April 24th – Tie Dye Day (participants are asked to bring a clean white shirt)
• Friday, April 25th – Animal Planet with a visit from the Utica Zoo Mobile
Participants are required to bring a nutritional lunch, healthy snacks, a water bottle, a swimsuit, a towel, sneakers, outdoor play clothes, and additional clothing. Daily rates for non-YCare participants are listed as $55 for members and $65 for non-members, with a $10 discount available for a second child.
Registration forms are available at YMCA Welcome Centers, can be downloaded from the YMCA website at www.ymcatrivalley.org, or may be picked up in the lobby.
