The FBI is seeking the public's help regarding reports of suspicious drone activity in several areas of New Jersey. Since November 18, residents in Mendham Borough, Mendham Township, Morristown, Morris Township, Chester, Randolph, and surrounding towns have reported seeing large drones flying overhead, often at night, for several hours.

Local and state police have forwarded these reports to the FBI. The agency has noted that witnesses have observed a group of objects resembling drones, as well as what could be a fixed wing aircraft. Individuals with any information relating to these sightings are encouraged to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or submit tips online at tips.fbi.gov.
