Ohio Invests $14 Million in Meat Processing Program

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted, along with Ohio Department of Development Director Lydia Mihalik, have announced a new round of investment for the Ohio Meat Processing Grant Program. The fourth round of funding totals $14 million, bringing the overall investment to $42 million across four rounds.

The investment aims to enhance and expand meat harvesting and processing facilities throughout the state. Since the program's inception, it has funded 179 projects in a total of 62 counties across Ohio.
