Prison City Pub & Brewery in Auburn, NY will host a German Christkindlmarkt-themed holiday market on Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m. The event, the second week of the Holiday Market series, will feature traditional German music and dancing by the Edelweiss Schuhplattlers of the Utica Maennerchor.

Guests can enjoy German food and cookies, a limited release of Gingerbread Beer, and traditional holiday beverages including Glühwein and Glühbier. Attendees will also see an Old-Time Santa and meet the Genesee Region Newfoundland Club Dogs. A new addition to the event, Blitzen’s Beer Bar, promises shorter drink lines and more holiday cheer.

In addition, a vintage white and blue trolley called the Polar Bear Express will run every 10 to 15 minutes on a free loop between the State Street Pub and the Holiday Market on North Street. The trolley ride is heated and musical.
