West Scranton High Announces New Student Guidelines
West Scranton High School in Scranton, PA has released several important updates for students starting this week. Students are required to be in homeroom by 8:05 a.m. every day, and the school is strictly enforcing the dress code. Only clear or mesh bags and clear bottles will be allowed on campus.
Parents of students with early dismissals must submit a note with a contact number. If no note is provided, a parent or guardian on record must pick up the student with photo ID.
The school also announced that dress down Monday on September 15 will not allow ripped jeans, hoodies, or shirts that do not meet the top of the pants. Additionally, Meet the Teacher Night is scheduled for September 18 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
The Future Readiness Center will host several events: Utica University on September 16, Johnson College on September 17, and two workshops on September 16. The EOC Common App workshop will be available only for grade 12 students, while the EOC Your Interests, Your Future workshop will be held for underclassmen.
