The Garwood Recreation Committee is hosting the Garwood Holiday Tree Lighting on Saturday, November 30th, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Borough Hall, located at 403 South Avenue. This free event will feature music and entertainment by Alan Keith Entertainment and a performance by the Garwood Lincoln School Choir.

Attendees can enjoy food trucks (available for purchase), free donuts and hot chocolate sponsored by Dunkin Donuts, and free ice cream from It's Delicious Ice Cream. There will also be arts and crafts and fun activities for the entire family.

Santa Claus will make a special appearance during the event. Additionally, the Garwood Police Department and Girl Scout Troop 41290 will be collecting unwrapped toy donations for Toys for Tots.

Following the tree lighting, a Family Skate Night will take place from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Warinanco Skating Rink, located at One Park Drive in Roselle. Garwood residents can enter for free, but pre-registration is required at www.garwoodrec.com.
