**Columbus Police Department Highlights Officer's Compassionate Action**
Columbus, OH – The Columbus Police Department has recognized Officer Nrique Love from Zone 2 for his compassionate actions during a recent call. Officer Love responded to a situation involving a concerned mother whose three-year-old son had been touched inappropriately.
In a show of support, Officer Love drove the mother and her son to Children's Hospital so they could file a report and receive necessary medical attention. He remained with them throughout their visit, engaging with the child by playing and watching football together.
The mother expressed gratitude for Officer Love's warmth and compassion during their difficult time, noting that her son enjoyed the experience so much that he has been asking for Officer Love daily since then. The Columbus Police Department highlighted this story as a reminder of the impactful moments officers can create in the community amidst challenging situations.
