The Utica Public Library in Utica, NY, has launched a new initiative called the Community Fridge Corner, which offers farm-fresh produce to the community. Produce items will be available for collection on September 11, 18, and 25, with deliveries scheduled for the afternoon on those dates.

To assist community members in preparing and storing the produce, SNAP-Ed NY will conduct a cooking demonstration and tasting on Wednesday, September 18, from 3 PM to 4 PM in the library lobby.

The Community Fridge Corner is part of the Farm to Library Project, coordinated by the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County SNAP-Ed Nutrition Program, in collaboration with Upstate Family Health Center, Inc. This project is supported by grant funding from Forward Leaning IPA (FLIPA). All produce is sourced from local farms.
